About the Book: “S-U-C-S-E-E-D” is how a high school graduate like me with ADHD would spell it. As a poor boy from Maryland’s Eastern Shore, I saw the “seed” but I thought about success. Success requires seeds of hard work to develop fertile soil and a harvest in the fields of life. Blood, sweat, tears, and prayers are the watering, and God’s light is the sun. From the church house to the school house, from the football fields to the streets of Afghanistan and Kentland, Maryland, I overcame my fear to SUCSEED. I strive to be a better man as I heal from poverty, failed relationships, PTSD, homelessness, and spiritual darkness. About the Author: André T. Miller was born February 12, 1983, in Salisbury, Maryland, to Florida A. Hall and was raised by her and his stepfather, the late Raymond C. Hall. During his youth, his family relocated from the Eastern Shore to Prince George’s County, Maryland. André graduated from Suitland High School as an NFL hopeful. He attended and played football for Saint Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, Virginia. He also served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Afghanistan. André currently resides in the Washington, D.C. area. He is a proud father, brother, uncle, son, nephew, and cousin to a very large and loving Christian family. André enjoys fishing, sporting events, live music, yardwork, traveling, and spending time with his family. Outside of his transportation career, mentoring youth and sports coaching are ways André invests in his local community. His motto, “Push NonStop,” is also his brand of motivational media and apparel.
